Junior media/content manager
Requirements:
- Degree in relevant field

- Ability to write on different subjects across a variety of sectors

- Must be Cape Town based
- Driver’s license

Duties and responsibilities
Traditional media:
- Copywriting and press release writing
- Developing and growing media relationships
- Compiling targeted media lists
- Pitching stories – print, broadcast and online
- Coverage reporting
Digital:
- Content planning and creation
- Community management
- Social media management and engagement
- Social media advertising – budget management and reporting
Client service:
- Acquire knowledge of client’s business and insights into the industry they operate in and assist in anticipating needs, solutions and opportunities to tap into
Salary is dependent on level of experience.
